Siam Rice II sits quietly on Railroad Ave in Santa Clarita, offering a straightforward take on Thai flavors that locals seem to appreciate, especially during weekday lunches when the space is calm and almost deserted. The atmosphere is unpretentious and relaxed, making it a solid spot for a no-fuss meal rather than a lively night out.

This Thai restaurant leans into classics that feel familiar but thoughtfully executed. Dishes like Chicken Satay stand out for their generous size and tender meat, easy to enjoy without fuss. The Pad Thai here tends to be saucy and satisfying, perfect for those who like their noodles well-coated but not overloaded. Soups, including the Lemongrass Spicy Soup and Coconut varieties, often come rich and full of ingredients, avoiding that watered-down feeling some fast-casual spots land on.

For locals craving a comforting plate of curry or stir-fry, options like Yellow Curry Chicken and Kung Pao Chicken provide solid, straightforward flavors. The Orange Chicken is notable for its balance of crispy exterior and tender interior with a thick, honey-like sauce that’s not overly sweet.

The interior is practical rather than styled, with a focus on getting the food out reliably. This makes Siam Rice II a good choice for quick takeout or an easy sit-down lunch rather than a celebratory dinner. Service often feels warm and welcoming, with staff attentive to making sure orders are right, which pairs well with the no-pressure setting.

Drinks include classic Thai selections such as Sweet Lemon Thai Tea, which some regulars feel has evolved over time, but it remains a refreshing complement to the meal. The best time to visit is likely midday on a weekday when crowds are minimal, and the kitchen runs smoothly.

Overall, Siam Rice II fits best as a comfortable neighborhood spot to satisfy cravings for reliable, straightforward Thai food without bells and whistles, ideal for diners who value generous portions and an easygoing vibe.

Wow, this place is so underrated, we came for lunch on a Tuesday and it was empty. But the food is so good. They have one of my fav style of chicken satay, it was tender and WIDE. Really easy to get the stick off. And the soup was so full with the fish meat. It doesn’t feel like they were skimping on the ingredients and was perfectly sour and yummy And the pad thai was also really saucy delicious with the rice.

This is our to go to place whenever we crave Thai food! It’s not complete without the mango sticky rice! Next time we will order some. Food is great!

Siam Rice offers delicious Coconut soap. We order it with medium spicy and it if fabulous. They have the best Orange chicken that I have ever eaten. The outside is hard and crispy with a soft interior. The very viscous orange sauce is the consistency of honey. It is worth the drive. The servers and owners are always very friendly and welcoming.

Food is usually good, the drinks also pretty good but I feel like the taste in the Thai tea is slowly changing. Maybe it's no coconut milk? I think last time they gave me half and half. I've also noticed no hair nets in the back kitchen and possibly mold in the ceiling, idk how they maintain a grade A. The inspector hasn't looked up I guess.

Did a quick stop to get some takeout since I had the dogs with me. Ordered sweet and sour chicken, panang curry, and white rice. They said it would be 10-15 minutes so I waited in the car, came back in at 10 minutes and it was ready to go. They had to-go containers for the curry and sweet and sour sauce. The fried chicken was wrapped in a vented take out container to let out the moisture and keep the chicken crispy on the ride home. Made it home in 10 and was eating shortly thereafter. Food was great, I love the creamy Panang curry. The chicken was nice a crispy and the sweet and sour sauce brought it all together, too. Glad to support a local business and I plan on doing it again.
